Web Casino Sucker Wagers — Part 2

[ English ]
  • Progressive side wagers: Casino games such as Caribbean Stud Poker often have one of these. You generally lay a bet (a dollar is the usual value) to attempt to win a bonus jackpot that can reach $25,000. Although big jackpots like these are extremely tempting, they’re also particularly complicated to win. You would have to get a Royal Flush in order to win this bet. Also, imagine this- you wager twenty hands and place the side wager every time. That’s 20 dollars you could have used towards the real game bet in place of a sucker bet. Just think about what you could have been able to win at a wager with better odds using that twenty dollars.
  • Individual number wagers in Roulette: This is especially true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has two zeroes on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has only 1. This shifts the overall casino advantage from 2.63percent with one zero wheel to a huge fivepercent in American. The individual number bet has only a 1 in 38 chance of winning, which are very big odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red bets as a substitute which have a much lower casino advantage.
  • Keno: Any version of Keno, and regardless of how you play it, the casino edge can be a whopping twenty-five percent. Yes, that is not a typo. Because of the large set of numbers you have to select, it is not advisable to wager on Keno very much. A few times for entertainment, perhaps. But do not spend all your cash on it or you will immediately find yourself broke.
